POLICIES

Financial Agreement

The top priority of Resilient Mind Psychiatry is the quality of your care.  We would like to provide ample time during your visit to discuss your concerns and be  accessible between visits for your phone calls and emails.  We do not directly accept insurance, but we can provide you with an itemized list of all services with codes necessary to help obtain reimbursement from your insurance company.

Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover via a secured, HIPAA and PCI compliant patient portal system.

Cancellation and Late Fee Policy

Treatment is available by appointment only. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance by calling the office or email through patient portal. Missing an appointment and/or failing to cancel within 24 hours of appointment time will result in the full charge for the missed appointment. If this occurs, we will automatically charge your on-file credit card. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may lead to discontinuation of treatment.  Please arrive 15 min early to initial appointment.  Please on time for all other appointment.  If you are 15 min late to appointment, you may need to reschedule the appointment and you may still be charged for the full visit.

Confidentiality and Release of Information

Trust and safety are paramount in the treatment of your mental health. We and all staff members take confidentiality very seriously. Federal law prohibits the release of any information about our work without your written permission, with a few exceptions:

1. If your provider believes you could harm yourself or others

2. If your provider suspects child or elder abuse

3. If a court subpoenas your records

4. If you are in an emergency department and emergency physician needs information to treat you appropriately
